About This Item
Random House New York, 1940 Early first year printing with green boards and black lettering. Book has little sign of use, but the jacket is edgeworn with a few chips and minor tears, and it is now protected. Green boards are not bashed or dented but there is some edgewear. The front flap outlines the story and has the price of $2.50 on the top right of the flap. The back flap outlines "The King's Stilts" and has a price of $2.50 in the lower right. The back has the famous selection of reviews by kids, ending with '"WHOW!" - Don J'. A beautiful copy in the hand, I have tried to describe the faults as honestly as possible. Please look at the photographs. This is a clean text copy, no colouring in or scribbles, and no owner name. It is nice and tight still, and without any abuses.
