New York: MacMillan, 1900. First Edition. Decorative Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. First Edition, stated 2nd printing, Oct., 1900 (1st was Aug., 1900), 344 pages & adverts., top edge gold gilt (still bright & intact). Hardcover, no DJ. VG+ to Fine condition, esp. for age (tough call). Green binding w/ red & gold gilt decoration very well preserved. Very light rubbing & little edge wear, a bit of soil. Some discolor to spine, but pretty minor. All decoration & lettering on front & spine is crisp & intact; front cover decoration esp. vibrant. Copy is tight & square w/ NO bumps- displays very well. Endpapers & text remarkably clean, white & unmarked- no foxing, & no toning to speak of. NO hinge splits or cracks; NOT ex library. A handsome copy- I don't think you'll be disappointed. ***Reliable, fast! (106)
