This first edition from the much-loved Winnie the Pooh series by A. A. Milne is in smart, collectible condition. Bound in original salmon pink boards with gilt detailing to front and title to the spine, with just some minor wear to the edges and the binding, including fading to the spine and some soiling to the rear panel. In spite of this, it remains square and firm, and is in lovely condition.

Inside, this book is in excellent condition with hardly any toning and just the occasional age spot to the pages. There is darkening to the ffep and staining to the half-title page, but otherwise the pages are clean and bright and free from damage, an uncommon find for popular children's books such as this. There is a neat ownership inscription to the half title page.

The book comes in a Fine facsimile dust jacket, which completes the book very well, restoring it to it's former glory. As such, the book would fit in perfectly to any book collection and on any shelf. Certainly a book to collect and cherish for years to come, reliving the beloved series and enjoying it with children. This book would also make the perfect gift for anyone who has grown up with Winnie the Pooh, and A. A. Milne's tales.
