London: H.C. Dickins, 1920.. A drypoint, with etching and aquatint. Published in an edition of 300 copies; 250 for the UK and 50 for the USA. Originally priced at 8 guineas. Image size is 15 x 20 cm. in a frame measuring 35 x 45 cm. Signed in pencil at the lower right, titled in pencil on the matte. Fine condition. Embossed date of 1920 at lower right of matte. Early Scottish print-seller's label on the rear. A fantastic image, based on only a few ruins, of the luxurious villa built by Sallust on the Quirinal, Rome's highest hill. [This is an oversize item, and normal postage rates do not apply. Large framed artworks are sometimes available for pickup only.]
