New York: William Morrow & Co, 1961. First Edition. Hard Cover with Dust Jacket. Fine/Very Good. Quarto. SIGNED AND WARMLY INSCRIBED BY ERLE STANLEY GARDNER TO DR. ROBERT P. BRITTAIN, life-long friend of Mr. Gardner and Professor of Forensic Medicine at Leeds University and frequent lecturer at the Homicide Investigation Seminar at the Harvard Medical School, where Gardner was often a pupil. Dr. Brittain was also the dedicatee of Gardner's book "The Case of the One-eyed Witness" and, it was said, a remarkable lecturer; he was a lawyer as well as a medical doctor. A fine copy in a very good dust jacket. 240 pp.
