About This Item

New York: Frederick Fell, 1951. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Small octavo. 5.25 x 7.75 in. 191 pp. Very good in the original beige cloth boards with bright red block titling, and a very good dust jacket that has minor chipping at the top of the spine and light wear along the bottom edge. The binding is firm and the pages are clean. Signed by Bale on the title page in neat blue ink. This text lays out the basics of atomic energy for the non-chemist, as explained by Bale, who was also the head of "The Bob Bale Institute of Personal Development" in Phoenix.
