London: Ward Lock & Co c.1900. hard cover, maroon leather, gilt embossed with school crest, 303pp, black and white portrait frontis. of author, 6 other black and white full-page illustrations, school prize plate fixed to inside front cover, dated Dec. 1901, Melbourne Grammar Preparatory School , 1 inch tear to top fore edge of spine, other edges a little rubbed, but otherwise all in very good clean and firm condition, no ISBN. Author was war correspondent to the Melbourne Argus newspaper. Photo available on request.
