Appears to be an Advance Copy or a Presentation Copy. First Edition stated on Copyright Page. Written by South Carolina's state Poet Laureate, drawing from his rural childhood environs in South Carolina. A beautiful unmarked and unscarred copy, but for the previous owner's gift presentation inscription on FFEP. Several tiny closed tears and chips along top and bottom edges of DJ. Near Fine/Near Fine. A signed copy of this scarce title is reported by to have been sold on their website in October, 2011 for $5,995. More photos upon request. Shipped in a box within a box, with bubble wrap and other packing materials.
