Hardcover. ; Red cover gilt embossed decor has light mothing along front hinge with general wear and chipped tail cap and modest soiling but bright and in good+ condition. Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. Former owner's name on front end sheet in antiquated ink. Frontispiece engraving of Charles the First plus 3 additional plates all protected by tissue. Pages are lightly foxed otherwise clean and very good. .
