Paris: Hermann, 1968. First Edition. Paperback. Near Fine. 4to. Two volume set. Publisher's printed wrappers. An excellent set housed in publisher's slipcases with frontispieces, plates and photographs. Slipcases with some wear to head and foot of spines, but books themselves are in find condition. Preface by Étienne Dennery. Each volume has an original work at the front: a color lithograph by Marc Chagall in vol. 1, an original etching by Dunoyer de Segonzac in vol. 2. This handsome production was completed under the direction of André Masson in honor of the Director of the Bibliotheque Nationale. A unnumbered limited edition on fine paper.
