The author traces the artist's life from her earliest childhood, through her school years, her achievement at art school in Munich, and the solemn decision to become a Franciscan Sister. The biographical section follows her in the years of her artistic acclaim and the monumental decision to share her paintings and drawings-through the medium of three-dimensional figurines- with collectors around the world. The heart of this book is the collection itself, shown completely in color and fully documented. There is special information about how the figurines are made, the markings used, known variations, lookalikes, and fakes. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket with many Goebel papers laid in and an ARS SACRA Herbert Dubler 1941 Note Card w/ Envelope #10 H 271 Unused. No Intenational Shipping.
