The great hurricane of Sept. 21, 1938, profusely illustrated from photographs taken by the author, before and after the storm. This was A Wind to Shake World, as reported in another famous book by Everett A. Allen. an author and reporter for the New Bedford Standard Times. Very Scarce report of the hurricane, 24 page pamphlet. Damage exceeded $5,000,000 in Newport, a huge sum at the time..
