Dublin: Cuala Press, 1940. Contains two early essays by Yeats: "If I Were Four-and-Twenty" (1919) and "Swedenborg, Mediums, and the Desolate Places." (1914). This is a Near Fine copy of the First Edition Thus, which was LIMITED to 400 copies. Blue paper-covered boards with a linen spine; paper label on spine. Clean text; 68 pages, some unopened. Hint of darkening to the top edge, and a very faint bubble to front cover; else a Fine copy. The glassine dustwrapper is present but has three small chips on the edges and a larger one to the top front. It has a neatly-inked number at the top left that corresponds to the number of the edition. In an archival plastic protector.. Limited. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
