Author's account of his scientific work during the 14 months he spent on the North-East coast of Greenland, as a member of a1939-40 Swedish-Norwegian expedition. The Norwegian Greenland Expedition 1939 had 3 objectives, glaciological, biological and meteorological. from the foreword, by J.C.Irvine, of The University, St. Andrews, Scotland; "Mr. Rodahl is primarily a scientist, and he has taken his test tubes and his scientific searching mind to Greenland and the result is a fascinating account of laboratory researches, conducted under Arctic conditions, which have given valuable results in the field of dietetics."
