Edinburgh: Gall and Inglis, 1899. Book. Very Good. Hardback. First Edition. 8vo. 128 pages, frontispiece plate, title page and b/w illustrations within text. Full leather binding with fine gilt decoration to spine compartments and gilt borders to the front and rear boards, bright wide gilt dentelles. Contents clean and tight, matching marbled paper endpapers and marbles fore-edges, no inscriptions, a little marked on the rear of the endpaper only, no foxing within. A very good first edition copy of tales of the Arctic and other extremes of the Ice World..
