New York: Random House, 1946. This is a Near Fine copy of the First Edition [stated]. Denim-blue cloth binding with O'Neill's signature in gilt on the front cover. Titling in gilt within a red label on the spine. Clean text; viii, 260 pages; top-edge is stained red. Some offset to the endpapers; small stamp on the rear paste-down. Else, a Fine copy. The dustwrapper is Very Good. Unclipped; light edgewear with some chipping at the top of the spine, which is darkened; lettering somewhat dulled but perfectly readable. In an archival plastic protector.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
Synopsis
Eugene O'Neill (1888-1953), the author of 49 plays, won four Pulitzer Prizes for drama, and is the only American playwright to have received a Nobel Prize.
