London: George Newnes, 1903.. Limited edition, no. 40 of 250 copies, folio, 35, (1) pp. 20 plates with captioned tissues, of which 14 are in colour, bookplate of the Society of Writers to the Signet. Original cloth backed printed boards, a little marked, label removed from the foot of the spine, generally a very good copy. A beautifully printed volume which was never repeated, including reproductions of paintings by Turner and Velasquez.
