Thick quarto; in the publisher's red cloth with elaborate gilt pictorial spine and upper board; all edges gilt; trace of wear at the spine; with illustrations by Charles Robinsons with 15 color plates (the frontispiece in full color and 14 additional plates in three colors), along with splendid full page black and white plates and hundreds of in-test illustrations and pictorial endpapers; the front hinge is a bit cracked but holding quite well.~~One of the least common of Mr. Robinson's "Big Book" series. Illustrating hundred of Mother Goose rhymes. Very Good binding.
