Paris: Librairie d'Art | Ludovic Baschet, 1882. Full Leather. Very Good binding. A sumptuously bound folio volume, in full navy blue levant with titling in gilt to the front board and the spine; with white watered silk doublures, and turn-ins with dentelles; all edges gilt. There are twelve sections bound together: Sir Frederick Leighton; John Everett Millais; Hubert Herkomer; Paul Jacques Aime Baudry; Josef Israels; Adolf F. E. Menzel; Carl von Piloty; Hans Makart; James Clarke Hook; Alexandre Cabanel; and Jean Louis Meissonier. The front board has been discreetly reattached and the silk endsheets have been reglued. A very handsome book. Very Good binding.

Library and institutional billing requirements are accommodated. Returns: We accept returns for any reason within seven days of receipt provided we are notified in advance and the book is returned in the condition it was sold. If the book is not represented accurately we will cover return media rate shipping. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 lbs, or 1 kg.
