Half-leather and marbled boards, matching marbled endpapers and page edges, 5 bands to leather spine, gilt title. 384pp. Vol 1 is in gilt on spine, no mention of this on title page but ballads are arranged alphabetically and this volume finishes with 'Lament for the Death of O'Neil'. Ballads illsutrated in b&w qith an introduction about each one. Front board unfortunately detcahed; Boards and spine rubbed and worn in places. Light scattered foxing to a couple of prelim pages but text pages all clean and in good condition. Apart from detached board, good and tight. NB Large book, may need extra postage.
