London: The Illustrated London News, Publisher, 1930. Wraps. Good. Printed wraps. Folio. Black and white photos and a few color illustrations throughout. A single issue of this journal of news and world events. This issue contains photos and information on the German airplane the Dornier DO.X, a flying boat conceived of by the German government to circumvent stipulations in the Treaty of Versailles; scenes of Afridi raids in the Peshawar region; photos of wildlife in the Kalahari; salvaging of the battleship Hindenburg, etc. GOOD condition. Some toning, foxing, soiling and minor staining to the covers. Side staples rusted. Small tear at the upper fore edge. A few minor stains in the interior.
