First Edition. A collection of short fantasies featuring such authors as James P. Blaylock, Robert Westall, Robin McKinley, Patricia A. McKillip, Joan D. Vinge, Peter Dickinson, P.C. Hodgell, and Jane Yolen. The first anthology edited by McKinley, this volume includes the first appearance of McKinley's The Stone Fey, which was later republished as a separate picture book.
