NY: J. & J. Harper, 1833. First edition, thus. Hardcover. Good. Darkened tan paper over boards, edge wear including rubbing to outer joints with some loss of cloth; tight, sound binding. Former ownership name in pencil, else unmarked copy. Light foxing throughout. Light damp stain to first 50 pages, lower edge about the size of a quarter, not discolored, shows as a bit wrinkled, some paper undulation, 26 engravings, mostly inter text, 2 full pages. 442 pages plus several pages of advertisements. Preface by author, dated 18th April, 1833.
