A social history of Canada, from an introductory essay on Indian customs through early European exploration and settlement to Confederation and early 20th century (closing just before WWI). Many illustrations in sepia. Extensive use was made of both public and company archives for illustrations. The authors particularly acknowledge the assistance of the T. Eaton Company Public Relations and Archives. Specially commissioned by Eatons. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
