Raleigh, N.C.: Edwards & Broughton Co., 1957. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Octavos. Variously paginated. FOUR VOLUME SET dated from 1957 to 1961. Hardcovers bound in tan buckram with spine titles on black fields. Moderate wear to the bindings, which have some smudge marks on the spines and covers. A sound set. Each volume comes with a thick paperback Supplement inserted at the rear (bound with this in mind; the binding allows for the inserts which are about 200 pages a piece). Volume I bears the imprint date of 1957. Volume II is 1959. Volume III is 1960. And Volume IV is 1961. The Index is for Volumes 200 to 254. The Index is only 4 volumes itself. Scarce.
