Physical description is provided for each plant and an illustrative drawing is provided for most. Included are the common names, physical features and habitats of each. The medicinal parts of each are indicated along with extraction methods and dosages. Additional information includes how certain plants are used in the natural healing traditions followed in other parts of the world, particularly Russia and China.
