New York: Dewitt & Davenport, 1848. 1st. Decorative Cloth. Collectible; Very Good. 1848 1st edition. VG in its original chocolate-brown cloth with gilt-decorated front panel and spine. Light rubbing to the panels, light chipping at the spine crown, 2 very small stamps to front endpapers and neat, small former owner signature to title page. Light foxing as well scattered thru the text. Still though, a perfectly presentable and, given its age, well-preserved copy. Octavo, 416 pgs. 2 beautiful full-portrait tribal engarvings serve as front endpapers.
