Burt later printing unclipped dust wrapper, dated 1930.'The Inevitable Millionaires' is a comical novel with a Wodehousian style humour, following two merchant middle aged brothers in London, who discover that they had a net worth of one million pounds. By prolific author E. Phillips Oppenheim, known for his best-selling genre fiction which featured a variety of glamourous characters and international intrigue.Stamp and bookplate of Dr. V. N. Podstata to the recto of the front endpaper, and title page. Podstata was superintendent of the Dunning Insane Asylum. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few small marks to the boards. Stamp and bookplate to the recto of the front endpaper. Minor edge wear to the dust wrapper, with small chips and closed tears. Spine is age-toned, with light marks to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Stamp to the title page. Near Fine
