A limited edition work, limited to eight-hundred and fifty copies, of which this is numbered seven-hundred and eight.'The Infernal Marriage' is Disraeil's novel written in his youth, following Proserpine as she is whisked away to Hades by Pluto.Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, a colour vignette to the title page, eight monochrome plates, and four in-text headings.Collated, complete.Written by Benjamin Disraeli.Illustrated by John Austen.Bookseller's label to the front pastedown. In the original publisher's quarter vellum binding with cloth to the boards. Externally, smart. A few minor marks to the boards and spine. Spine is a little discoloured, as is usual with vellum. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with just a few minor handling marks. Bookseller's label to the front pastedown. Page 79/80 has a chip to the fore edge, not affecting text. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
