Early edition (originally first published in 1947). General mild speckling to the cover, with a few tears at the spine edge, Sunning at the spine, and a large mild fox mark at the top outer fore page edge (light scattered foxing otherwise). Front inside gutter cracked at the title page, and rear last page; otherwise, a secure text block with brown, age-toned pages. Hardcover book with 928 pages. Fair plus condition..
