Decorated in gilt spine with gilt lettering over red spine label. All edges gilt, marbled endpapers. Very light rubbing to bottom edges of boards. Binding is tight and square. In fine condition. The Ingoldsby Legends is a collection of folktales, poems, myths, and ghost stories, and children's rhymes, including "A Franklyn's Dog", an early version of "Bingo
