NY: Innerspace, 1967. 1st Edition . Soft cover. Fine. 4to. Unpaginated (~28pp). Saddle-stapled in wraps, printed in green ink throughout. The fourth of six total issues of this off-shoot of the East Village Other. Highlights include Psychedelic Information Center founder Lisa Biebermans update on the status of LSD among advocates and opponents, and her open letter regarding the word "psychedelic" to Humphry Osmond, along with his courteous reply; a report from Michael Bowen on the San Francisco Human Be-In held in January 1967; and an article on Drop City, a "totally living environment outside the structure of society," based in on principles from Buckminster Fuller. Lightly bumped at bottom fore-corner, else fine. A sharp copy of this uncommon journal noteworthy for its attractive design and intelligent approach to 1960s drug culture.
