The spine has a red pen or pencil title & date: "MANILA 1906" hand-written on it. The first fly leaf appears to have been torn out. There are a few notes or comments in the text and occasional underline of key words. There is a penned number on the verso of the title page. . Else the book is firm, solid and attractive. Please see the photos posted to our website for more details. . The inside cover page has someone's fountain pen hand written notes [1-4] questioning the correctness of some photos.
