About This Item

New York: Alfred a Knopf Inc, 1976. Book. Very Good +. Hardcover. Signed by Author(s). First Edition/First Printing. A solid tight clean carefully read copy. This copy has some light board rubbing wear, some board edge wear, light rubbing wear to the black cloth binding. The 8.95 priced jacket first state foil jacket is sorta rough. The jacket has some rubbing wear, some edge wear, some chipping at the top and heel of the spine are, a crease to the spine area and two shortish creases to the front flap., All in all this is a pretty nice copy with a rough jacket as described. You could do a whole lot worse. The first book in the Vampire Chronicles series and the basis for the Brad Pitt, Christian Slater and Tom Cruise movie. THIS COPY IS IN MY POSSESSION AND NORMALLY SHIPS NEXT DAY. Not an easy title to find anymore in a first printing. I purchased this copy from someone that invested in a COA the is included with the book. .

Synopsis

Interview with the Vampire is a vampire novel by Anne Rice written in 1973 and published in 1976. The novel, the first to feature the enigmatic vampire Lestat, was followed by several sequels, collectively known as The Vampire Chronicles. A film version, Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles, was released in 1994 starring Brad Pitt, Kirsten Dunst, Antonio Banderas, Christian Slater, and Tom Cruise.  In 2022, an AMC+ series retelling the tale rekindled the popularity of the book series. To date, the novel has sold some 8 million copies worldwide.
