This copy is from the library of Paul Sachs, 1878-1965, Curator of Prints at the Fogg Museum, with his bookplate and signature, bought from his grandson Frank Robinson. Well used, rebound, pencil underlining of sources, some signatures loose. Arntzen/ Rainwater N32. William M. Ivins, 1881-1961, Sachs's almost exact contemporary at the Metropolitan Museum, considered the fact that Hinds was "the standard English text on the subject is a calamity" in an article a copy of which I include. But the 485 prints are a great source. Good; sold as an association piece with all faults. Stock#47660.
