Illustrated with 15 beautifully hand coloured plates, plus one real flower mounted onto the blank leaf opposite the title page. xxiii, 407pp, Publisher advert leaf. 15 full page plates, not paginated. The plates were not isued coloured in most copies. A few pages showing some foxing but overall a very good copy in early half tan calf boards with a new calf spine to match. The spine is ruled, lettered and decorated in gilt. Marbled paper on boards. Previous owners ink initial stamp on front paste down. A handsome copy.
