Just a touch of shelf/edge wear to dark blue cloth boards with light green titles - corners have very tiny bumps. This copy has new endpapers. Housed in a brand new facsimile DJ - now in mylar. No previous owner names or markings - all pages are clean, unmarked and slightly tanned. John Wood Campbell Jr. (June 8, 1910 – July 11, 1971) was an American science fiction writer and editor. He was editor of Astounding Science Fiction (later called Analog Science Fiction and Fact) from late 1937 until his death and was part of the Golden Age of Science Fiction. Invaders from the Infinite is a science fiction novel by American writer John W. Campbell Jr. It was simultaneously published in 1961 by Gnome Press in an edition of 4,000 copies and by Fantasy Press in an edition of 100 copies. The book was originally intended to be published by Fantasy Press, but was handed over to Gnome Press when Fantasy Press folded. The novel is an expansion of stories that originally appeared in the magazine Amazing Stories Quarterly. A very handsome First Edition in a New facsimile DJ.LOC SSE-01
