Hodder & Stoughton Ltd, 1899. Hardcover. Good. 1899. No edition remarks. 419 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Contains black and white illustrated plates. Deckled edges. Pages are moderately tanned with visible foxing. Notable cracking to hinges, however binding remains firm. Plate by p.78 is detached but still present. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Mild water staining to pages throughout. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking to boards. Moderate tanning to board edges and spine, which has mild crushing and tearing to ends. Moderate water stains to surfaces. Boards are mildly warped.
