Washington Irving's Tour of Scotland, now first published(1927), Has biographical and literary importance not possessed by his other journals of travel, It was written at the very turning point of his career, in the year 1817, the year in which he was, perhaps, most strongly influenced by Walter Scott, by Robert Burns, by the literary society of England and Scotland and by old romantic England. These are very fine historical documents in a very fine set. Limited and Scarce and Rare.
