New York: Micthell Kennerley, 1929. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. Genthe, Arnold. Inscribed by Arnold Genthe (1869-1942) on the first free endpaper. Genthe first burst on the scene with his photographs of the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake. He later became known for his celebrity portraits. This was Genthe's fourth book. Isadora Duncan died two years before publication in September of 1927. Unpag. 4to. Black cloth boards with beveled edge, gold embossed titling to cover board and spine; wear and scuffing to cover, small cloth losses at corners, fraying at head and foot of spine. Text block slightly loose to boards but no splitting or separation at gutters. Images sharp and clean.
