In original illustrated wrappers. In good condition only, stained on the covers, worn on the spines and to the edges, book's section of Management Technology Institute (has existed for several years only in 1920s) stamp to the back cover, stains to some pages. Limited to 40 000 copies.
Illustrations for these issues were created by a painter and graphic artist Aleksandr Deyneka (1899-1969), who regarded as one of the most important Soviet modernist figurative painters of the first half of the XXth century. He studied at the Higher Art and Technical Studios (VKhUTEMAS) under Ignatiy Nivinskiy and Vladimir Favorsky. He was one of the founders of the Society of Easel Painters (OST) and a member of art association Oktyabr'. In the early period the artist depicted genre scenes as well as labor and often beauty of naked sport body. In late 1920s and early 1930s he has collaborated with children's publishing houses and several magazines.
