About This Item
332 pages. Binding is solid, all pages intact; some foxing and minor staining, but book is eminently readable
Grant Overton (1881-1930) was a literary critic, editor, and novelist. He was an editorial writer and the literary editor for the New York Sun from 1906 to 1919, editor of Colliers Magazine, then worked for George H. Doran, the book publisher, and was author of at least ten books and editor of collections of short stories.
This is his then-highly-popular romance of a very sheltered young woman experiencing the racy world of New York City.
