London: Phaidon, 1963. 1st. Hardcover. Fine/near fine. Bound in the publisher's original blue cloth with the title stamped in gilt on the spine. Presentation on the front free end paper of the plate volume in the hand of Madeleine Cosman to her husband. Both volumes internally clean and bright. The plate volume has one hundred and sixty eight plates. The dust jackets are lightly faded with some rubbing and small chips to the edges. Large business car from Dr. Madeleine Pelner Cosman laid in.
