Illustrated throughout with numerous engravings in the text. Bound by Leighton Brewer In morocco bindings. Externally, generally smart, though with some rubbing to the extremities. Institutional lettering to spines. Internally, firmly bound. Bookplate of Westminster Public Library to front pastedowns, with ink stamps to the endpapers, and ex-libris blindstamp. Ink inscription to front free-endpaper. Pages are bright, though with some scattered ink stamps and foxing throughout. Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
