Hardcover has dark green cloth-covered boards with gold spine lettering. Cover and spine have green & white Art-Nouveau-style rose and leaf decorations. Front hinge cracked, webbing showing, but intact. Binding also cracked near center. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with some fraying at tips and spine ends. Covers have moderate surface and edge wear and numerous light stains. Top back 2-inches of spine fabric is cracked and starting to separate from boards. Name in ink on front endpaper. Covers have a few nicks around edges. Back cover wrinkled in places. Pages foxed. Some pages have light brown stains in the margins. NO highlighting or other markings. Black & white frontispiece and illustrations. 159 pages. No dust jacket. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
