Well-researched monograph on the life and work of this noted American Impressionist, including his earlier works before 1890. Includes biography and bibliography. Black cloth, 313 pages, no dustjacket. Covers heavily rubbed with bumped edges, a small chewed area at the bottom of the rear cover, some spotting and uneven fading, externally fair to poor. Internally much better, with good hinges, sound text block, very clean pages free from names or other markings.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/No. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
