SIGNED/AUTOGRAPHED (NO inscription) with handwritten "876" of 1500 published by the Lewiston Journal (Press) Company. No printing history, First Edition thus; copyright 1921. Collectible. Limited to 1,500 copies of which this is hand-numbered 876. Pub. Lewiston Journal Press. Hardcover: Very Good+. Black lettering and illustration on red-orange-brown-sienna cloth over boards with small paste-on label at spine head. Short white line at spine heel. Bumped corners with wear, edgewear, spine ends mushed, shallow dents, transparent spots, rubbing/scuffing. Spine paste-down is scuffed and worn/chipped, has edgewear, tears, missing areas, but is still legible. Tight sewn binding. If issued, no dust jacket. Contents: Clean. Age toning, little foxing. Rough cut edges. First letter of each section is illustrated. Markings: Long curving red mark on ffep and signs of pencil erasure on top edge of one of the fep that precedes the title page, no other markings located on quick page flip. 287 pp. No unpleasant odors detected.
