Red cloth with gilt lettering to the spine and " The Original Illustrated Edition" embossed at front /top board. This copy is VG. Exterior spine is modestly sunned ; scattered spotting to rear board; and modestly crimped spine ends. Edges, tips with only hints of wear . Neat PO signature dated 1910 at top of front paste down. Otherwise unmarked, crisp, and firm with modest toning. "Illustrations on steel by George Cruikshank". Tissue guarded frontispiece. Some uncut pages. .
