New York: B.W. Huebsch, 1925. Herbert (Sherman) Gorman (1893-1954) wrote here one of the earliest critical studies of the great Irish modernist; later he would Uncommon except in the reprints. Black cloth binding, blindstamped, with gilt lettering. Bright text; 238 pages; unfortunately with several notes by a previous-owner (in red ink!). Corners lightly bumped; gutters are splitting but holding well. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good Minus/No Jacket.
