About This Item

New York: Davis' Union Printery, 1913. Here is a bit of interesting political vanity from a New York politician who was a Republican member of the Assembly and later a mayor. This is a Very Good (minus) copy of the First Edition. Green cloth binding, ruled, with black lettering on the spine and front cover. Clean text; 181 pages. This copy has been INSCRIBED (in an impressive hand) by the subject to "James A, O'Gorman" on the FFEP. Quercus presumes this to be James Aloysius Gorman (1860-1903), a judge who served one term in the Legislature as a result of a Tammany fight. The covers are sunned on the spine and margins of the covers. No dustjacket; in an archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Inscribed By Author. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good Minus/No Jacket.
